It seems so long ago, and I guess that it has been, when everything shut down in March. I remember e-mailing my class participants saying that I would be stopping the class for a bit and that I would see them in a few weeks or so. Wow, has the world ever changed over the past 4 and a half months! As I write this, I'm thinking about all the years that I have put together classes and announcements for such, and how different it is now, in that we have to consider all the procedures that must be in place before starting any class
I am starting with small steps, and will start an outdoor Pilates mat class the last Monday of August for a few weeks. You can refer to the schedule for dates and times.
The following will be the procedures in place for these classes and any private sessions.
Participants must register for classes as class size will be limited to keep adequate space between people. Please arrive on time for the class.
Please sanitize your hands before and after class. Sanitizer will be available.
Masks must be worn upon arrival, as we may not be able to distance properly. Once you are settled on your mat, your mask can be removed. I will wear a mask at all times.
Places will be marked as to where you can place your mat.
A resistance band will be given to you for you to keep. Props required for that class will be pre-sanitized and placed in a plastic bin for each person. Upon arrival you will pick up a basket and take it to your spot.
At the end of class you will place all props in the "to be cleaned" bin and the baskets in the other marked bin.
Upon arrival and departure, and when settling before class, please try to keep social distancing in mind.
A washroom is available if needed.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CLASS IF YOU HAVE ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS; HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19 OR IS DISPLAYING ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS; HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE PROVINCE OR COUNTRY (return to class once you have self-isolated for 14 days)
This is just a guideline, as I'm sure there are situations that I have not considered. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
